Dylon
Dyglazes are water dispersions of selected high temperature
glass frits and binders that contain no lead or graphite.
The resultant coating provides excellent surface finish
and effective lubrication at very high forging and extrusion
temperatures. Dylon Dyglazes come in three versions for
your particular process. Dyglaze W-894 is designed for metals
forged at 1600 - 1800ºF (870-980ºC), Dyglaze W-895 is designed
for metals forged at 1800 - 2000ºF (980-1090ºC), and Dyglaze
W-896 is designed for metals forged at 2000 - 2200ºF (1090-1200ºC).
Dylon Dyglazes reduce die pressures by lubricating the part-die
interface allowing easy metal deformation into difficult-to-fill
deep die recesses.

Dylon
is a manufacturer of Dylon BN-897, a boron nitride coating
that is white, slippery, non-abrasive, and composed of essentially
inert materials with high contents of pure boron nitride.
BN-897 is characterized by its chemical inertness, high
temperature stability, low thermal expansion, and high dielectric
strengths. The coating is a good high temperature lubricant
and provides excellent mold release for any forging, extrusion,
and hot pressing operations.
