Dylon
Industries manufactures a wide variety of products for the
many facets of American production. A few of the industries
we serve include steel foundries, railroads, glass manufacturers,
ceramics, electronics, and other markets that have a need
or use for lubricants, coatings or release agents in a high
temperature environment or other specialty area.
There are several areas of Dylon specialty products. Dylon
lubricants are used for the difficult jobs where temperatures
are above the normal range of oils and greases.
Dylon Heat Tracing compounds are specially formulated to
be economical and easy-to-use. These compounds provide the
broadest temperature range available in heat conductive
compounds. The cured compounds are water resistant, highly
resistant to acid fumes and salts, and are unaffected by
oils, greases, and organic solvents.
Dylon
release agents are used in all metal-melting industries.
Many of the release agents manufactured by Dylon are graphite-based
in a water vehicle. (Graphite does not react significantly
with many molten metals, iron being the most notable exception).
These coatings and release agents provide excellent release
and superior surface finish for the casting of metals, glass
and ceramics.
For
those applications where graphite is unacceptable, Dylon
has both titanium dioxide and zircon-based release coatings.
Most Dylon coatings are concentrates, able to be diluted
with water, to provide very economical dilutions.
